Privacy Policy

Smuz is a one-person practice. This site collects nothing: no forms, no accounts, no scheduling widget, no cookies and no analytics. We do not send unsolicited email and we do not buy or hold lists of people to contact. If we hold anything about you, it is because you emailed us, or because our host logged your request. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't share information with third parties beyond the tools listed below.

The data controller is Mykyta Lysenko, trading as Smuz, a sole trader registered in Slovakia. Contact: hello@smuz.io. Registered business details appear on every contract and invoice.

• Email correspondence — if you email us at hello@smuz.io, we keep that thread to be able to reply and follow up. Email is the only way to reach us — there is no booking form, no scheduling tool and no contact form on this site.
• Basic server logs — Netlify (our host) records standard request metadata: IP, user agent, URL, and response status. Used for debugging and security. Retained by Netlify per their policy.

• No advertising or tracking cookies.
• No fingerprinting or cross-site analytics.
• No third-party marketing pixels.

We use a small number of vendors to run the practice. Each one receives only the data necessary to do its job.

• Netlify — application hosting and server logs. netlify.com/privacy.
• Google Workspace — email hosting for @smuz.io addresses.
• Anthropic — a drafting assistant used in running the practice, for example to draft replies to public forum posts. Not used to train models.

Email is kept for as long as we're in active correspondence with you, plus a reasonable archival period (typically 24 months) to handle follow-up questions. You can ask us to delete it at any time — see below.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. Email hello@smuz.io with the subject line “Data request” and we'll respond within seven business days.

If you're in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority, or with the Slovak authority, the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov.

We'll update this page if anything material changes about how we handle your data, and update the “Last updated” date at the top. No tracking, no notifications — just read the page again if you want to know what changed.
