Privacy Policy

The short version

Smuz is an independent studio. We collect the absolute minimum data needed to operate this website and book calls with founders. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad trackers, and we don't share information with third parties beyond the tools listed below.

What we collect

  • Booking data — when you schedule a call through Cal.com, we receive your name, email, the time you picked, and any notes you write in the booking form.
  • Email correspondence — if you email us at hello@smuz.io, we keep that thread to be able to reply and follow up.
  • Basic server logs — Railway (our host) records standard request metadata: IP, user agent, URL, and response status. Used for debugging and security. Retained by Railway per their policy.

What we don't collect

  • No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • No fingerprinting or cross-site analytics.
  • No third-party marketing pixels.

Third-party tools

We use a small number of vendors to run the studio. Each one receives only the data necessary to do its job.

  • Cal.com — scheduling. Handles your booking data. See cal.com/privacy.
  • Railway — application hosting and server logs. railway.com/legal/privacy.
  • Google Workspace — email hosting for @smuz.io addresses.

How long we keep data

Booking and email data is kept for as long as we're in active correspondence with you, plus a reasonable archival period (typically 24 months) to handle follow-up questions. You can ask us to delete it at any time — see below.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. Email hello@smuz.io with the subject line “Data request” and we'll respond within seven business days.

If you're in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if anything material changes about how we handle your data, and update the “Last updated” date at the top. No tracking, no notifications — just read the page again if you want to know what changed.
